In the beginning…

Famous words from my favorite book. The very first sentence. Throughout the book, there is evidence of many new beginnings, even after momentous failures.

This is my new beginning. Sometimes, rather than trying to edit the existing, you just have to get a new sheet of paper. Or a new box of crayons. Or a new tube of mascara.

Say thank you to the old thing, for everything it taught you. For how well it served you. Because remember, once upon a time, it was the new thing.
